The Welsh Books Council are in search of just that.

For the best in Welsh language children and young adult literature throughout the years so that it can be shared with today's audience.

Are they past winners of the Tir na n-Og award or something completely different? Are they perennial tales or stories that reflect a specific period in history?

Why not join in the search, choose your own title to share with the children and young adults of today?

Let's start the discussion.

#gorauorgoreuon

In response to recommendations in  The Report on Books for Children and Young People  by Dr Siwan Rosser ( Cardiff University) published in 2017, the Welsh Books Council will be continuing their campaign #gorauorgoreuon during this year's Urdd National Eisteddfod. Festival goers who visit Siop Inc stand will have the opportunity to suggest books they think should be included on a list of titles to share with a new generation of readers. The chance to win a  £50 book taken will be an added incentive to take part.

The campaign aims to continue in other venues including the Royal Welsh and National Eisteddfod. The hashtag  #gorauorgoreuon offers the opportunity to share suggestions via social media.
