World Book Day Activities
Here are a few pupils from Troedyrhiw Primary School in the Merthyr Tydfil central library on 6 March 2013. After hearing the history of the local area, the staff and pupils recreated the history through acting and craft based activities. At the end of the event all the pupils received a pack from the library and their own copy of a book from the "Horrible Histories" series.
Here are some local children at Bridgend central Library on Saturday 9 March 2013. They created musical instruments made out of recycled items, and paraded through the town centre. After returning to the Library they had competitions to win prizes and listened to stories coinciding with the clown theme.
